Lacasse Park

Named one of the Top 100 Festivals in Ontario by Festivals & Events Ontario, the Tecumseh Corn Festival offers a vairty of family-fun entertainment including a Vendor Village, Midway Carnival, Live Stage Entertainment, and delicious hot-buttered corn on the cob.  For event details, visit tecumsehcornfestival.ca.

Corn Festival Parade

  • Saturday, August 25, 2018 - 11:00 to 12:30

Enjoy live bands and decorative floats as they make their way through our main streets towards the festival grounds.
The parade commences at the intersection of McNorton Street and Lesperaance Road.  It will proceed southerly along Lesperance Road to Tecumseh Road.  The parade will continue on Tecumseh Road easterly to Lacasse Boulevard.  On Lacasse Boulevard, the parade will continue directly north to Lacasse Park.  Click here for a map of the parade route.

Community Bonfire, Marshmallow Roast & Fireworks

  • Saturday, September 1, 2018 - 18:00 to 22:00

Lakewood Park

From 6:00 pm to 8pm, enjoy an evening on the beach of Lakewood Park (North) with a performance by musical performance by Max Marshall.  Bonfires will be lit and complimentary marshmallows and sticks will be available to roast.  Following the concert, head across the road to Lakewood Park (South) where fireworks will light up the sky at dark (approximately 9:00pm)

Optimist Club Family Fun Fair

McAuliffe Park

Locations to be Announced

Show your support for physical activity and a healthier community by walking.  A community walk will be scheduled in each municipal ward.  Complimentary healthy snacks and refreshments will be available thanks to the support of Essex Power Corporation's Youth In Community Program.  Stay tuned for details.
