Enjoy a delicious pancake breakfast with Santa and Mrs. Claus.

Only $5 per person.  Choose the 9 AM seating or 11 AM seating.

During the meal, children and their family members will have an opportunity to visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus.  Parents are encourage to have their cameras ready!

Family Game Nights Image

Fun & FREE for the whole family!  A variety of games are available to play.  Play with your family members or join in with another group.  Hosted by the Tecumseh Youth Advisory Committee from 6 PM to 8 PM at the Tecumseh Recreation Complex and Arena on Friday, September 21, Friday, October 19 and Friday November 16.

 

 

URBAN POLING

Turn your walk into a full body workout.  Urban Poling (also known as Nordic walking), is basically cross-country skiing without the skis.  It helps tone muscles while burning calories and helps to increase your posture.   The Tecumseh Parks and Recreation Department offers free use of urban poles at Lacasse Park and Lakewood Park.  CLICK HERE for details.

Community Health and Fitness Programs:

The programs listed below are hosted at one of the Town of Tecumseh recreational facilities.  Registration for the programs below are done directly with the program instructor.

Nancy Pattison's Dance World - With over 65 years of dance instruction, Nancy Pattison's Dance World is offering classes for all ages including Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop and more at the Optimist Community Centre.  For program information and register, contact 519-996-2259 or visit www.nancypattison.com

Kundalini Yoga  - Instructed by William Thomas who has over 20 years of teaching experience.  Kundalini Yoga is a dynamic blend of physical postures, breathing, movement, stretching, meditation, mantra and relaxation, the combination of which activates the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system, expands the lung capacity, and purifies the bloodstream.
