Business Support

Tariff Response

In response to the current economic challenges and associated tariffs businesses are facing, the Town of Tecumseh has established partnerships with Invest WindsorEssex (IWE), the Windsor Essex Chamber of Commerce, Tourism Windsor Essex Pelee Island (TWEPI) and Workforce Windsor-Essex.

The goal is to assist in promoting economic development and maximize support to the Tecumseh business community by way of various Federal and Provincial support programs. The programs are intended to support workers and employers impacted by tariffs (by way of Federal programs) and provide funding opportunities (by way of Provincial programs).

Various Federal and Provincial programs are available to businesses, which are provided at the links below.

How can Town Staff Assist with Applications?

Town Staff can provide assistance to Tecumseh businesses with the completion of program applications as it relates to supporting information available from the Town (e.g. zoning, servicing, demographic data, community profile, mapping, etc.).  To discuss how the Town can assist, please email ecdev@tecumseh.ca

Tariff Impact Survey

The Windsor Essex Chamber of Commerce Tariff Impact Survey is available for completion by businesses in the Town. Feedback collected by the survey will help to strengthen the Chamber’s advocacy efforts and guide future discussions among members of the Economic and Trade Task Force.
