Windsor-Essex County Health Unit Issues Cold Weather Warning

Based on Environment and Climate Change Canada’s forecast, Windsor-Essex County Health Unit has issued a Cold Warning for Monday, January 20 and Tuesday, January 21, 2025. A Cold Warning is issued when the temperature reaches -15°C (5°F) without the wind chill for a day.

Treatment Plants

The Town's sewage is treated at the City of Windsor's sewage treatment facilities: the Little River Pollution Control Plant (LRPCP) and the Lou Romano Water Reclamation Plant (LRWRP). If you require information regarding the sewage treatment plants, contact the City of Windsor at 519-253-7217 or call 311.
