Raising the Flag for World Autism Day

The Town of Tecumseh is celebrating World Autism Day on April 2, 2025, by raising the flag and illuminating Town Hall green as part of the “Fly the Flag” campaign. World Autism day serves as a meaningful way to show our support for autistic individuals in our community and across Ontario.  

Celebrate the Spectrum is Autism Ontario’s annual campaign, promoting awareness, advocacy, and positive action. It provides an opportunity to foster inclusive spaces, support diverse communities, and enhance understanding of autism. This year’s campaign theme, tie-dye, symbolizes the individuality and uniqueness of every autistic person. 

We are honoured to support this important initiative and encourage all residents, businesses, and organizations to participate in recognizing and celebrating autistic individuals in our community.
