CANADA DAY IN TECUMSEH

CANADA DAY CELEBRATIONS

Join the Town of Tecumseh as we celebrate diversity, inclusivity, and multiculturalism at our Canada Day Celebration! The event will take place on Monday July 1st, 2024 from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at Lakewood Park South (13451 Riverside Dr. Tecumseh, ON).

There will be a free community BBQ (while supplies last) thanks to Zehrs in Tecumseh. Family-friendly activities include: bouncy castles, pony rides, top shot hockey, crafts, balloon twisting, face painting, glitter tattoos, putt putt golf, lawn games, Tecumseh Fire & Rescue Services misting the crowd, Border City Barkers dog show, and multi-cultural performances.  

TOWN HALL          

The Town of Tecumseh offices will be closed on Monday, July 1 to celebrate the Canada Day holiday.

Payments may be dropped off at Town Hall using the secure drop box located beside the main entrance door. Please ensure information on the envelope is clearly outlined (e.g. name, address, tax roll number, application and/or other identifying details to assist staff). As an alternative, the Town’s website also offers online services and payments (www.tecumseh.ca).

TECUMSEH TRANSIT

There will be no transit service on Monday, July 1. Information on the Town’s transit service is available on the Town’s website.

TECUMSEH ARENA & RECREATION COMPLEX

The Tecumseh Arena office will be closed on Monday, July 1 for the Canada Day holiday.
