Financial Help
If you would like to participate in a recreation program but require help with the cost, please call the Community & Recreation Services at 519-735-4756 ext. 151.
Community & Recreation Services work with community organizations to provide financial help for registration fees. Funding programs include:
- Pathway to Potential
- Optimist Club of St. Clair Beach
- Essex Power Youth in Community
Funding is limited. Please contact the Tecumseh Parks & Recreation office early in the year to secure your program funding.

Additional Funding Opportunities
Canadian Tire JumpStart provides financial assistance to youth ages 4 to 18 looking to enroll in sports or physically active recreation programs. To apply to Canadian Tire JumpStart funding, please visit their website for online submission.
Eligibility
Funding eligibility is determined based on size of family unit and annual family unit income using Revenue Canada's Low Income Cut-Offs charts as published by Statistics Canada.

The Community & Recreation Services ensures that all requests for funding will remain confidential.
Please schedule an appointment with the Community & Recreation Services to meet with our staff to determine if you qualify for funding assistance. You are required to provide your most recent Canada Child Benefit form or Ontario Child Benefit form.
